The Proof: Branding

That time I rebuilt a brand that became a recognizable name in the waste industry, which increased web traffic by 304%. Peak moment? When my logo shirt was recognized out in the wild with a “Hey - I’ve heard of you guys!”

The One Where I Rebuilt a Brand

The problem: Too many product brands, too many disconnected websites, and prospects left playing detective.

The remedy: Shift from a fragmented house of brands to a unified branded house strategy.

The result: 304% increase in website traffic within six months of launch.

The details: The company had four separate websites: three product brands and one corporate brand. The problem? There was little connection between them, even though the products served overlapping audiences and were often relevant to the same customer.

Instead of presenting a clear ecosystem of solutions, the company was essentially asking prospects to piece everything together themselves. Which, as it turns out, is not a particularly effective growth strategy.

I led a complete brand architecture overhaul that repositioned the company from a collection of standalone products into a unified parent brand with a clearly connected product portfolio. This included consolidating digital properties, developing a new product naming framework, restructuring brand hierarchy, and rebuilding the company’s digital presence around a single, centralized brand story.

The goal was simple: reduce friction in the buyer journey and stop making prospects work harder than our marketing team.

By unifying messaging across the portfolio, I created a more cohesive go-to-market strategy that allowed the company to build stronger industry recognition, streamline campaign execution, and direct traffic toward a single conversion-focused destination.

The result was a 304% increase in website traffic comparing the six months prior to launch with the six months following the rebrand.

Turns out making it easier for customers to understand what you sell is pretty good for growth.
